Willie Fred Bates, Jr., a beloved member of the community, passed away on September 7, 2023, at University Hospital. He was born on April 7, 1977, in Richmond County, Georgia.

Willie will be forever remembered for his warm heart and genuine kindness. He touched the lives of many with his compassion and willingness to lend a helping hand. His presence brought light into every room he entered, and his smile could brighten even the darkest of days.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the Visitation Service, which will be held on Friday, September 15, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia. The address is 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext. A Funeral Service will follow on Saturday, September 16th at the same location from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM.
