William Cummings

William Cummings, a cherished son and brother, was born on March 30, 1984, in the lively city of Augusta, Georgia. Throughout his life, William embraced the warmth and spirit of his hometown, making lasting memories and that will now echo in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

On February 24, 2025, William peacefully departed this world, leaving behind an irreplaceable void in the lives of his family and friends. He was beloved son of Denny Ray Dalton and Angela Cowan Dalton, who nurtured him with love and guidance throughout his remarkable journey. His spirit will forever be carried by his devoted brother, Kenny JoRon Dalton, who shared countless adventures and dreams with him.

William's genuine kindness, infectious laughter, and unwavering loyalty were testaments to the wonderful person he was. He had an innate ability to light up a room and offer comfort to those around him. Whether it was a friendly word, a heartfelt hug, or simply being present in times of need, William's warm heart and gentle spirit made a profound impact on everyone he encountered.

His life, though all too brief, was filled with moments of joy and connection. As we gather to celebrate and honor William's memory, we invite all those who knew him to join us in remembrances of laughter, love, and the beautiful times spent together.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA, 30901. This will be an opportunity for family and friends to come together, share stories, and support one another in their grief.

A Funeral Service will take place the following day, Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Doyal Grove Baptist Church, located on Blythe Rd, Hephzibah, GA, 30815, beginning at 2:30 PM. Immediately following the service, William will be laid to rest during an interment ceremony at the same location at 3:45 PM.

Though William may no longer walk among us, his spirit will continue to inspire and uplift those who loved him. As we navigate this painful loss, let us carry forward the lessons he taught us — to embrace life with open arms, to cherish our relationships, and to love fiercely. William Cummings will always be remembered as a beacon of kindness, and his legacy will forever shine brightly in our hearts.
