William Henry Burney, a retired truck driver known for his dedication and hard work, passed away on June 4, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on September 22, 1943, in Aiken, South Carolina.

Mr. Burney's life will be celebrated in a series of events starting with a Visitation at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta on Monday, June 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. This will be followed by a Celebration of Life service on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the same location starting at 11:00 AM. The final farewell will take place at Walker Memorial Park in Augusta on June 11, 2024, with the Burial ceremony commencing at 12:15 PM.

Throughout his career as a truck driver and into retirement, William touched the hearts of many with his kindness and strong work ethic. He will be remembered for his unwavering commitment to his family and friends.
