Robert Lee Lemon, Jr. was a man of honor dedication, and service to his country. He was born on August 31, 1949, in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and sadly passed away on January 7, 2024, in Evans, Georgia. Robert was a loving husband to Rosa M. Lemon and a devoted father to his children Pamela Lemon, Tanya Lemon, and Brian Lemon.

After completing his education, Robert chose to dedicate his life to serving his country. He joined the United States Army and served faithfully for many years before retiring with distinction. Robert's commitment to duty was unwavering and he was recognized for his exemplary service throughout his career.

Following his retirement from the Army, Robert found a new purpose in providing essential services as a mechanic for John Deere. His expertise and dedication were valued by both his colleagues and the company he served.

Beyond his career achievements, Robert will be remembered as a warm-hearted individual who always put others first. He possessed an innate ability to bring joy to those around him through acts of kindness and compassion. Robert's sense of humor would brighten any room, and he had an infectious laughter that could lift spirits during challenging times.

In addition to being an exceptional husband and father, Robert cherished the company of friends. His genuine interest in others made him an incredibly likable individual who formed long-lasting friendships throughout his life.

The legacy that Robert leaves behind is one of love, perseverance, and courage. He served his country with honor and selflessness while also creating countless enduring memories with family members and friends.

To celebrate the remarkable life of Robert Lee Lemon Jr., visitation services will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church located at 703 Furys Ferry Rd in Evans, GA.

A funeral service will follow at the same location, starting at 12:00 PM, to honor and pay tribute to Robert's life. Friends, family, and loved ones are invited to join in sharing memories and finding solace in each other's presence.

Following the funeral service, a burial ceremony will take place at Gospel Water Branch Baptist Church, where Robert will be laid to rest. This final act of saying goodbye will occur at 12:15 PM.

Robert Lee Lemon Jr. was a great man who touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed by his beloved wife, Rosa M. Lemon, his children Pamela Lemon, Tanya Lemon, and Brian Lemon, as well as his extended family and friends.
