Otis Walker

Otis Walker, a beloved retired individual who dedicated his life to family and community, peacefully passed away on May 1, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on June 3, 1956, in Burke County, Georgia.

Throughout his life, Otis exemplified grace, integrity, and a deep commitment to serving others. Not only did he excel in his career before retirement, but he also proudly served in the United States Army, demonstrating his unwavering dedication to his country.

Otis will be fondly remembered by all who knew him for his kind heart, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty to his loved ones. In addition to leaving behind a legacy of kindness and compassion, he also leaves behind a host of cherished family members and friends who will forever hold him in their hearts.

The memory of Otis Walker will live on through those he touched during his time on earth. May he rest in peace.

Services to honor and celebrate Otis's life will be held at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext. in Augusta, Georgia. A visitation will take place on Friday,  May 10, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the same location on Saturday, May 11, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM followed by the burial at Walker Memorial Park located at 620 Laney Walker Blvd in Augusta at 12:15 PM.
