Norman Ryans, Jr.

Norman Ryans, Jr., a beloved member of the Augusta community, passed away on September 11, 2023, at the age of 84. Norman was born on October 12, 1938, in Augusta, GA, to his loving parents. His gentle and kind-hearted nature touched the lives of all who knew him.

Norman's life will be celebrated through a series of services. The Visitation will take place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA. Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects and share memories of a life well-lived.

A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, September 25, 2023, at Greater Mt Canaan Missionary located at 2573 Wheeler Rd, Augusta, GA. The service will begin at 2:30 PM and conclude at 3:30 PM. Norman's loved ones will gather to honor his memory and find solace in each other during this difficult time.

Following the Funeral Service, a Burial ceremony will take place at Franklin Covenant Baptist Church located at 4800 Franklin Covenant Rd, Hephzibah, GA. The burial will commence at 4:00 PM and conclude at 4:15 PM. It is here that Norman will find eternal rest alongside his loved ones who have gone before him.

Norman's warm smile and compassionate nature were traits that endeared him to many. He had a unique ability to make those around him feel seen and heard. His unwavering support and compassion were evident in every interaction he had with others.
