Born on October 2, 1944, in Augusta, Georgia, Mose's life story is a colorful tapestry of zest and vigor.

Mose cherished the finer aspects of life, finding joy in the mundane pleasures that often go unnoticed. He had a profound love for fishing, finding solace in the gentle rhythm of the water and the whispering breeze. Gaming was another passion that brought him excitement and camaraderie. Yet above all, his heart truly danced in the presence of his beloved friends and family, sharing laughter and creating unforgettable memories.

In this time of mourning, Mose is survived by his dear friend and caregiver, Ms. Janie Godbee, who stood by his side through thick and thin. His legacy lives on through his daughter Adrian (Frank) Beckles, his sister Patricia (Willie) Embry, as well as his cherished grandchildren: Christian A. Beckles, Dayshia Beckles, Aleiyah Beckles, Jaylen Michael Beckles, Miracle Beckles. He also leaves behind the love of his life, his great niece Faith (Brian) Hunter.
