Makel Fleming Jones Jr., a beloved member of the Augusta community, passed away on April 2, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness. He was born on March 30, 2005, in Augusta, Georgia.

Makel's life will be celebrated during visitation services on Thursday, April 11, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta. The funeral service will take place the following day, Friday,, April 12, 2024, starting at 2:30 PM also at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. His final resting place will be at the South View Cemetery in Augusta with the burial ceremony commencing at 3:45 PM.

Makel will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Throughout his life, Makel touched the hearts of many with his generosity and compassionate nature. He will be remembered for his infectious smile and unwavering positivity that brightened the lives of those around him.
