Lucille W. Johnson

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille W. Johnson, who departed this world on August 8, 2024, in Ellenton, South Carolina. She was born on June 26, 1945, and left behind a legacy of love and warmth that will forever be cherished by those who knew her.

Lucille was a woman of grace and strength, known for her unwavering kindness and gentle spirit. She attended the Old Ellenton Public School System, where she laid the foundation for a lifetime of learning and growth.

Her memory will be honored during visitation at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia, on Tuesday, August 13, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A solemn graveside service will follow on Wednesday, August 14, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Mt. Olive Memorial Gardens.. These moments of coming together will allow family and friends to pay their respects and celebrate Lucille's life.

Lucille will be deeply missed by her surviving family members: her daughters Michelle (Vernon) Glover and Felicia (Fredrick) Trotty, her sons Joseph (Simone) Rogers and Joseph Rogers, Jr. Their lives were enriched by her love and guidance, and her memory will continue to inspire them in the days ahead.
