She gracefully departed this world on March 24, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia, leaving behind a tapestry of memories woven through her family and friends, each thread with love and affection Linda was the mother of seven devoted children, whose lives have been shaped by her unwavering strength and nurturing spirit. Brenda Love, Micheal Wells, Tabatha Perkins-Young, Deborah Leverette, Tamika Wells, Toyquan Wells, and Gregory Sapp carry the legacy of their mother’s love and guidance, her essence forever imprinted upon their hearts.
A visitation will be held in her honor on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. Those who knew Linda are encouraged to come share stories, celebrate her life, and find solace in community during this time of remembrance.
Following the visitation, a funeral service will take place on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Transforming Lives Bible Church, beginning at 2:30 PM and culminating at 3:30 PM at 2439 Peach Orchard Rd, Augusta, GA 30906. It will serve as a heartfelt tribute to the incredible woman she was, filled with love, laughter, and the shared stories that characterized her remarkable journey.
Linda's earthly journey will conclude with her interment on the same day at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Hephzibah, where she will find her rest amidst the tranquil hills. Family and friends are invited to gather at 3:45 PM at Deans Bridge Rd, Hephzibah, GA 30815, to lay her to rest and honor the indelible impact she made in all their lives.
