Lamesha Quashon Solomon, a loving mother, devoted daughter and cherished member of our community, passed away on August 22, 2024 in her hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Born on December 9, 1972, Lamesha radiated warmth and kindness throughout her life, touching the hearts of all who knew her.
As a dedicated housekeeping supervisor at Hyatt Hotels, Lamesha exemplified hard work and commitment. Her colleagues admired her strong work ethic, but it was her gentle spirit and infectious smile that truly made her stand out. Lamesha fostered an environment of kindness, inspiring others with her ability to bring joy into even the toughest of days.
Beyond her impressive career, Lamesha’s greatest pride lay in her role as a mother. She treasured her sons, Micheal McGahee, Marcus Solomon, and Robert Willingham, Jr. They were her world, and she dedicated herself to nurturing and supporting them in every endeavor. Lamesha’s unwavering love for her family created a bond that would forever be cherished, and she encouraged them to pursue their dreams with fierce determination.
A visitation in memory of Lamesha will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext. in Augusta. Friends, family, and all those who loved her are invited to come together to celebrate her life and share stories that reflect the extraordinary impact she had on many.
The following day, on Friday, August 30, 2024, a graveside service will take place at Walker Memorial Park at 11:00 AM. Here, we will gather to honor Lamesha's journey and lay her to rest among the gentle embrace of nature, heartened by the legacy of kindness and love she leaves behind.
Lamesha Quashon Solomon will be deeply missed, but her spirit will live on through her beloved sons and the community she touched so profoundly. In our hearts, her memory will forever remain, a guiding light encouraging us to love deeply and live fully.
