Laila Lanai Proctor

Babygirl Laila Lanai Proctor, born on September19, 2023, in Augusta,, has left us to cherish her memory on February 8, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. Her passing has left a void in the hearts of her loved ones and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Laila was a shining light that brought joy and happiness to everyone she encountered. Her infectious laughter and warm smile could brighten even the darkest of days.  In her short time with us, Laila touched the lives of many. Her kindness knew no bounds, and she had an uncanny ability to make everyone feel loved and accepted. Laila made a lasting impact on all who crossed her path.

Throughout her life journey, Laila was fortunate to have been surrounded by family and friends who adored her. Her parents, Tyrese Proctor and Shikia Dunn, were not only her pillars of strength but also her biggest cheerleaders. While our hearts ache at the loss of such an extraordinary soul, let us find solace in the beautiful memories we shared with Laila.  In doing so, her spirit will continue to live on in our lives.

To celebrate Laila's life, a visitation will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta. Friends and family will have the opportunity to pay their respects from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM that day. This gathering will serve as an occasion to reflect upon cherished memories of Laila's radiant presence among us. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to be made in Laila's name to a charity close to your heart. By doing so, we can honor her memory and continue the legacy of love and benevolence that she embodied.

Laila Lanai Proctor, a ray of sunshine who graced our lives with her presence, will be forever missed but never forgotten. May her soul find eternal peace, knowing that she made a profound impact on the world around her. As we bid farewell to this remarkable young soul, let us cherish the memories we shared and carry her light within us always.
