Kizzy’s early life was filled with promise. She graduated from Butler High School, demonstrating an eagerness for learning that never faded. Pursuing her dreams, she went on to earn a bachelor's degree in business from Phoenix University, an achievement that spoke volumes of her determination and ambition. Throughout her life, Kizzy upheld the values of hard work and resilience, traits that she proudly instilled in her children.

As a devoted mother, Kizzy poured her heart into raising her son, Jimmy Norman. Her nurturing spirit and steadfast support provided a loving foundation upon which he could grow and thrive. Kizzy’s warmth extended beyond her role as a mother; she was also a loving daughter to her mother, Barbara Bennings, and a supportive sister to her siblings, Artia Jones, Delvecco Perkins, and Tanya Perkins. As a family, they shared bonds of laughter, love, and countless memories that will be cherished forever.

Kizzy is also survived by her late father, Jimmy Perkins, whose legacy lives on through her and in the stories she carried with her. Though her heart has been touched by loss, she faced life with an indomitable spirit, reminding all who were fortunate enough to know her of the importance of family, love, and compassion.

Her passing has left an irreplaceable void in the lives of her family and friends, who will remember her not only for her infectious smile but for the unwavering support she provided to those around her. Family and friends are invited to honor her life and legacy during the visitation on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. A funeral service will be held the following day, Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM at the Old Storm Branch Baptist Church, 163 Storm Branch Rd, Beech Island, SC 29842. Kizzy will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Memorial Park, with interment taking place at 12:30 PM.
