Kimberly Rachelle Abney, a beloved soul who touched the hearts of many, has passed away in North Augusta, South Carolina. She was born in Aiken, South Carolina on May 5th, 1986. Kimberly's vibrant spirit and love for life will forever be remembered by all who knew her.
Kimberly had a zest for life that was infectious. She cherished the simple joys of trying different foods, going shopping with her mom, and most of all, relishing in laughter and precious moments with her family. Her warm smile and caring nature left a lasting impact on everyone she met.
In this time of grief, Kimberly is survived by her loving mother Lisa Abney, brothers Richard D. Jackson, Sr., Sheldon B. Roper, and Brandon Roper. She is also survived by her aunts Sherry Abney and Stephanie R. Abney, uncles Jame B. Abney, Stacey Abney, and Curtis E. Abney.
Kimberly was preceded in death by her grandfather Oscar Abney, grandmother Geneva Green Abney, great-grandmother Martha C. Hall, and uncle Henry L. Dixon.
A Memorial Service to honor and celebrate Kimberly's life will be held at the C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901 on Monday, March 11th, 2024. The service will begin at 2:30 PM to commemorate the beautiful life lived by Kimberly Rachelle Abney.
May she rest in peace knowing that she was cherished and loved by many who were fortunate enough to have known her during her time on this earth.
