She possessed a warm and nurturing spirit that radiated joy to everyone around her. Kenya's love and compassion were most evident in her role as a substitute teacher. Throughout her career, she touched the lives of countless students and colleagues alike. Kenya's dedication to education and her unwavering commitment to fostering a love of learning will forever be remembered.
Kenya's journey began at Glenn Hills High School, where she graduated with distinction in 1989. Armed with knowledge and a thirst for making a difference, she embarked on a path that would impact generations to come. Her educational journey laid the groundwork for her profound influence as an educator. Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 17, 2024, at Mt Zion Missionary Baptist Church located at 2526 Lumpkin Rd, Augusta, GA 30906. The service will begin at 11:00 AM sharp and conclude at noon. Friends and family are invited to gather together to celebrate Kenya's life, share cherished memories, and find solace in each other during this difficult time.
