Katlyn Arianna Chishom

In loving memory of Katlyn Arianna Chishom, who graced this world with her presence on June 13, 2000, in Augusta, Georgia. Tragically, she departed from us on December 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy of love and kindness that will forever echo in the hearts of her family and friends.

Katlyn was a devoted mother to her two beloved sons, Kai Xavier Rodriquez and Xyloh Akarri Rodriquez. Her nurturing spirit and boundless affection were evident in everything she did, as she poured her heart into her role as a parent. She took immense joy in watching her boys grow, and her memories with them will remain treasured each day they carry forward her love.

She was the cherished daughter of Junious Chishom III and Trinicia Slider, with additional support and compassion from her stepmother, Lakeisha Chishom, as well as her grandmother, Margaret Chishom and her fiance, Marcel Rodriquez.. The bond she shared with her family was unwavering and filled with warmth; Katlyn was a source of strength and inspiration in their lives. Katlyn stood as a proud sister to Junious Chishom IV, Junious Chishom V, Zadarian Chishom, Ebony Lewis, Keyonice Burts, Alyssia Chishom, and Rueben Chishom, sharing countless adventures, laughter, and memories that will be forever emblazoned in their hearts.

Throughout her journey, Katlyn embodied a vibrant spirit and a compassionate soul. She touched the lives of many, leaving behind an imprint of love and memories that will resonate deeply with all who knew her. Her infectious laughter and genuine warmth will be profoundly missed, but her spirit will live on through the love she cultivated and the relationships she cherished.

Please join us for a Visitation to honor Katlyn on Friday, December 27, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. Following this, we invite all to come together in celebration of her life on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11:00 AM until 12:00 PM, also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home. Let us gather to share our stories, remember her vibrant spirit, and celebrate the wonderful person she was.
