Joseph Merriweather

Joseph Merriweather, a dedicated servant to his country and community, passed away on July 10, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia, at the age of 95. Born on November 28, 1928, in Augusta, Georgia, Joseph led a life filled with honor, courage, and selflessness.

Following his military service, Joseph continued to make an impact as the Director of HRE in New York City, where he brought the same dedication and passion to his work.

A visitation in honor of Joseph Merriweather will be held on Thursday, July 25, 2024, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901.
