Jefferson Alphonso Hodge

Jefferson Alphonso Hodge, born on February 13, 1963, in Belle Glade, Florida, has left us on January 29, 2024. It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Jefferson, a beloved husband and cherished member of our community.

Jefferson was a man known for his kind heart, gentle spirit, and unwavering love for his family and friends. He touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him and leaves behind a legacy filled with compassion, empathy, and joy. Throughout his life, Jefferson exuded warmth and sincerity in all that he did. His infectious laughter brightened even the gloomiest of days, and his genuine interest in others made everyone feel seen and appreciated. Jefferson approached life with an open heart and an open mind, always willing to lend a helping hand or offer words of encouragement.

The memory of Jefferson will forever be treasured by his surviving family and friends. Angela Hodge, his loving wife, stood by his side throughout their journey together. Their unwavering bond served as an inspiring example to all who knew them. Angela will continue to hold onto the wonderful memories they created together.

A memorial service to honor and celebrate Jefferson's life will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024. The service will take place at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext. Augusta, GA 30901. The service will begin at 11:00 am and conclude at 12:00 pm. In this time of mourning and remembrance, let us come together to honor Jefferson's life and the indelible mark he left on our hearts. May we find solace in the memories we shared with him and support one another during this difficult time. Jefferson's spirit lives on through each of us, reminding us to cherish our loved ones and spread kindness wherever we go.
