Horace James Walker, Jr.

Horace James Walker, Jr. passed away on February 16, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia, the town that was not just his place of death but also his birthplace on July 28, 1955.

Horace was a beloved member of the community, known for his kind heart and warm spirit. He touched the lives of many with his generosity and gentle nature. His presence brought joy to those around him, and his legacy will continue to live on through all the lives he has influenced.

He is survived by his loving family who will cherish the memories they shared with him. Horace's memory will be forever kept alive by his family and friends who were fortunate enough to have known him during his time here with us.

The services to honor and celebrate the life of Horace James Walker, Jr. will be held at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home for a visitation on March Friday, 1, 2024, followed by a Funeral Service the following day at Thankful Baptist Church on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at 1 P.M. He will then be laid to rest at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Hephzibah, Georgia.
