Gunnar Michael Wilson

Gunnar Michael Wilson, a bright light in the hearts of many, was born on July 10, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. Tragically, he left this world too soon at the tender age of just a few months on October 2, 2024. His time with us may have been brief, but the joy and love he brought into the lives of those around him were immense and will forever be cherished.

From his arrival, Gunnar was a beacon of happiness, his infectious smile and bright eyes lighting up even the darkest of days. He possessed an uncanny ability to touch the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. To his family and friends, he was not just a baby but a pure, innocent spirit whose impact resonated deeply within their souls.

Gunnar leaves behind a loving family who will honor his memory with open hearts. He is survived by his father Brandon Wilson and his mother Brittany Judy Wilson, as well as his devoted grandmothers, Nancy Duncan, Tasha Otero aka Mamita, and Freda Judy, alongside his grandfather Nal Creel. His siblings, Brandon, Jr., Jordan, Donnie, Amber Lynn, Courtney, Aralyn, Autumn, his aunts, Haley, Kelly, Bry, Cynthia, Daysha, Alexis, his uncles Nal III, Tony, Deshaun, Jesse, Daniel, and Joseph and several cousins including Damien and Lai'lahni will carry his memory forever.

The joy that Gunnar exuded will keep his spirit alive in all who loved him. To honor his life, a visitation will be held on Thursday, October 17, 2024, beginning at 1:30 PM until the hour of service at Mann-Mize Fellowship Church. A Celebration of Life will follow from 2:30 PM until 3:30 PM. Finally, Gunnar will be laid to rest at Westover Memorial Park on the same day, beginning at 3:45 PM.

As we gather to celebrate the life of this remarkable little soul, let us remember the profound joy he inspired, the laughter shared, and the love that knows no bounds. Though he is with us only in spirit now, the memories of Gunnar Michael Wilson will continue to fill our hearts with warmth and tenderness. He will never be forgotten.
