Fred Taylor

Fred Taylor, a cherished father and a beloved member of his community, departed this world on January 4, 2025, in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Born on September 17, 1977, Fred's life was marked by a vibrant spirit and a passion for music that resonated deeply with all who knew him.

For many years, Fred dedicated himself to his career at FPL Food Services, where he left a lasting impression through his hard work and commitment. His colleagues admired not only his work ethic but also the warmth and kindness he offered every day. He could often be found sharing a laugh and a tune, as music was an integral part of his life, bringing joy and connection to those around him.

Fred was a devoted father to his children, Patrice, Nigeria, La'Kayla Denise, and Fred and his sister, Melinda. Each of his children held a special place in his heart, and he took great pride in their accomplishments, nurturing their passions and encouraging them to pursue their dreams. His laughter and love will forever echo in their lives, a comforting reminder of the bond they shared.

A memorial service to honor Fred’s life will be held on Saturday, January 18, 2025, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta, GA. Family and friends are invited to gather from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM to celebrate the wonderful life of a man who will be profoundly missed.

Fred Taylor's legacy of love, music, and devotion to his family will continue to inspire those who had the privilege to know him. His spirit lives on in the hearts of his children and in the melodies that filled his life. May he rest in peace, knowing that he has left an indelible mark on the world around him.
