**Elliott Adams, Jr.: A Life Remembered**

Elliott Adams, Jr., a beloved father, brother, and friend, passed away on April 11, 2024, in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on April 13, 1945, in the same city that he called home throughout his life.

In his youth, Elliott attended Lucy C. Laney High School and graduated in the class of 1963. Known for his strong work ethic and dedication to providing for his family, Elliott worked numerous jobs over the years. Additionally, he was the proud owner of a successful lawn care service that brought vibrancy to many landscapes under his care.

Mr. Adams was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracey Adams; his parents; and five siblings, Robert Joe, Mary, Eddistine, Earnestine, and David.

Elliott's memory will be cherished by his surviving family members: daughter, Cynthia Adams; sons Elliot Adams III and Marcus Adams; brother Micheal Adams; sisters Clacie "Sugga" White and Esther "Boone Scott-Wright. His presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all those whose lives he touched.

A viewing to honor Elliott's life will take place on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, starting at 2:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta. The Celebration of Life service will follow the next day at True Vine Missionary Baptist Church on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, starting at 11:00 AM. Finally, he will be laid to rest at Walker Memorial Park alongside his departed loved ones on the same day starting at 12:15 PM.

The legacy of Elliott Adams, Jr. will endure through the memories shared by family and friends who knew him best. May he rest in peace after a lifetime dedicated to hard work and love for those closest to him.
