Darrin Leon Willis, Sr.

Darrin Leon Willis, Sr., a beloved husband, father, and dedicated community member, passed away on November 15, 2024 in Colquitt, Georgia, at the age of 58. Born on September 9, 1966, in Augusta, Georgia, Darrin was a proud resident of his hometown, where he forged lasting relationships and made significant contributions to his community.

Darrin is survived by his devoted wife, Mia Willis, and their four cherished children: Diadra Rountree, Nicole Collier, Dominique Willis, and Darrin Willis, Jr. His family was the center of his life, and he took immense pride in being a loving husband and father. Darrin’s warmth, humor, and compassion touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

The community will gather to honor Darrin's memory during a visitation on Thursday, December 5, 2024, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext in Augusta, Georgia. A funeral service celebrating his life will take place the following day, Friday, December 6, 2024, at Kingdom Full Gospel Church, 2420 Norfolk St, Augusta, Georgia, beginning at 11:00 AM. He will be interred shortly after the service at Walker Memorial Park, 620 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, Georgia, at 12:15 PM.
