Cynthia Morning, a beloved daughter of Augusta, Georgia, was born on December 1, 1955. With a heart full of love and compassion, Cynthia dedicated her life to serving others, most notably through her work at Pruitt Health of Augusta, where she touched the lives of many.
Cynthia passed away peacefully on February 9, 2025, in the very city that witnessed the blossoming of her spirit. Her vibrant presence will be profoundly missed by her family and the community she cherished so much.
She leaves behind her proud sons, Mal (Sharonna) Morning and Terrelle Morning, and a host of grandchildren, nieces, and nephews who carry forward her legacy of kindness and resilience. Also mourning her departure is her loving sister, Alvenia (Spurgeon) Kirk, who shared many cherished memories with Cynthia throughout their lives. Together, they created a bond that showcased the beauty of sisterhood, one that will forever resonate in their hearts.
As we gather to celebrate the remarkable life that Cynthia led, we invite friends and family to a visitation on Friday, February 21, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA. A Celebration of Life will follow on Saturday, February 22, 2025, from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the same location. These moments will hold the stories, laughter, and tears shared in honor of a woman who brought light to so many.
Cynthia’s life was a testament to the power of love and compassion, and while she may no longer be with us in body, her spirit will continue to guide and inspire those who loved her dearly. She will forever reside in our hearts as we remember her gentle soul and the joy she brought to our lives.
