Christopher Lee Starks, a beloved son, brother, and friend, passed away on February 24, 2025, in his hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Born on November 11, 1988, Christopher's life was a tapestry of experiences intertwined with love, laughter, and a deep commitment to his family.
Christopher was a proud graduate of T.W. Josey High School in Augusta, where he cultivated lasting friendships and memories that shaped his formative years. He was known for his warm smile and contagious laughter, which brought joy not only to his loved ones but also to everyone who had the pleasure of crossing his path. His unyielding spirit and zest for life were evident in all he did.
He is survived by his devoted mother, Betty J. Dubose, whose strength and warmth were constants in his life. Christopher also leaves behind his loving sisters, Angela Jackson and Tabatha Davis, as well as his caring brothers, Tyrone Hooks, Anthony Shaw, Johnny Starks, Jr., and Jermaine Mitchell. Together, they formed a close-knit family that cherished each other deeply.
Christopher's father, Johnnie Dubose, preceded him in death, leaving behind a legacy of love that continues to inspire those he left behind. While Johnnie's absence is felt profoundly, the bonds forged between Christopher and his family remain a testament to the love that transcends even the greatest of losses.
As friends and family gather to celebrate Christopher's life, they will remember him for his kindness, his unwavering loyalty, and his ability to brighten any room. A visitation will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA. Following this, a graveside service will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at 11:00 AM at Walker Memorial Park, 620 Laney Walker Blvd, Augusta, GA, providing an opportunity for all to come together in remembrance and support of one another.
