Her commitment to the well-being of others extended beyond her workplace and into the hearts of those who knew her as a sister, friend, and confidant.

Carleen's journey, though bright and full of purpose, was far too brief. She left us with memories that resonate deeply—the sound of her laughter during family gatherings, the warmth of her encouraging words, and the gentle spirit that was ever-present in her interactions. Carleen's unwavering support for her siblings, David Lankford Jr., Maurice A. Lankford, and Lorecia A. Lankford, exemplified a bond that many aspire to have. As we gather to honor Carleen's memory, we invite everyone whose lives she has touched to join us in celebrating her vibrant life. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 13, 2025, from 2 PM to 6 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA 30901. The following day, Friday, March 14, 2025, a Celebration of Life will commence at 11 AM, also held at the same location.
