Mr. Patrick Smith
To the family of P. Smith (Patrick) Smith/Curry, extended family and many friends. My condolences to you on your loss. Nothing ever prepares us for the loss of a loved one but, God gives us the knowledge that even though he no longer can call earth his home....he's away from this mean and cruel world that took him away....and he's in perfect peace. Though you may can't pick up the phone and call when you need him....he hears you when you call. Don you may can't feel that brotherly hug anymore....but know he will now forever have you in his embrace. To his children daddy may be gone visually from your sight but he's forever in your hearts....and an Angel to keep you safe from this cruel cruel world. No parent should bury their child but just know Patrick will be saving a seat for you all. To his many friends (REAL FRIENDS) and cousins....I know you want to see him smile or laugh again as only P. Smith could....but look at those children and see him in them. He's taken a journey
although be it to soon...but we all must take. So just prepare on Earth today to see Patrick in that beautiful city we call Heaven when its our time. The tears won't go away tomorrow....next week....two months... or even years. But God will give you strength to bear a little more and more each day. Don't worry about the circumstances surrounding the situation. It's hard to say but God was preparing that day of judgment for those trying to take his place as God. As soon as he came and walked Patrick through those gates the trumpet was sounded. This battle is and always has been the Lord's. I'm praying with all my heart that God pulls each and everyone of you through today as you lay Patrick's earthly being to rest. Uplift and celebrate then the life God allowed us to borrow him for even just these short years....celebrate and laugh about the good times and the bad. To the Smith/Curry family be blessed, hold on to one another and never let go of God's unchanging hand. Rest on
Patrick...you're in God's perfect peace now. On behalf of Ms. LaTasha Wright, Master Evan Wright and Mrs. Betty Leverett be blessed and may God be with you and your family during this time of bereavement.
