Naomi Williams

~ NAOMI WILLIAMS OBITUARY ~ Naomi Williams was born on June 15, 1941. She was called home on February 28, 2023. She was affectionately known as "Neet" to family and friends who knew her best. Naomi was raised in Appling, Georgia, and moved to Augusta, Georgia where she met and married the late Daniel Avery. She joined Jordan Grove Baptist Church at a young age and joined the Usher Board where she eventually became the president and served faithfully for many years. Known as a loving and friendly face to both friends and family. Naomi shared her love and was well known for cooking. It was her love language. If she fed you, it meant that she loved you and you were forever a part of her family.Funeral services for Mrs. Naomi Williams will be conducted Saturday, March 11, 2023 at 4 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Gibson Chapel. Internment will be in Walker Memorial Park. Visiation will be Friday, March 10, 2023 from 2 - 6 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home.
