~ MARQUET WOODS OBITUARY ~ Marquet M. Woods was born April 24, 1979. He departed this life on Thursday, June 16, 2011. Mr. Woods was preceded in death by his aunt, Betty Woods, and grandfather, John H. Woods. He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving mother, Martha A. Woods, Augusta, GA; father, Jerry (Eartha) Banks, Nashville, TN; loving girlfriend, Krystal R. Kimble; two sisters, Monique (Jimmy) Chapman, Augusta, GA, and Faith Hught, Nashville, TN; one brother, Eric (Stepfanie) Elliot, Augusta, GA; five children, (son) Jontae M. Landers, (daughter), Kayla N. Landers, (daughter) Jada M. Hood, (son) Timothy Z. Woods, (unborn son) Marquet M. Woods, Jr.; stepchildren, (daughter) Kylie Kimble, and (daughter) Makiya Revell, all of Augusta, GA; four aunts, Mary (Roosevelt) Jones, Mattie H. Woods, Antionette Walters, Mary Farley, all of Augusta, GA; four uncles, Clifton Woods, John Woods, Donald Banks, Elijah Walters, all of Augusta, GA; two grandmothers, Pauline P. Woods, Mattie (Elijah) Walters, both of Augusta, GA; one great-aunt, Bessie Plumber; close friends, Ruben Johnson, Willie Holden, Roe Briggs, Jr., Tyron Cooks, Alex J. Williams, and Fredrick Brown; and a host of cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. The family will recieve friends at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home on Thursday, June 23, 2011 from 2 - 7 PM. The Celebration of Life Service will be conducted this Friday, June 24, 2011 at 2 PM at Frazierville Baptist Church (1932 Carolina Rd.) Interment will be in Southview Cemetery.
