~ ELIZABETH BOYD OBITUARY ~ Ms. Elizabeth Sista Boyd was born August 1, 1929, in Burke County to the late Mr. Garvin Boyd and Jodie Mae Boyd. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Dianne Boyd-Walker. Elizabeth joined First Baptist Church at an early age, after moving away from Georgia she united with Church is Family Worship Center, in Lakeland FL. were she served faithfully until her health failed. She received her education at Boggs Academy. Elizabeth favorite Quote was God is good all the time, all the time god is good. She leaves to cherish her memories: husband,Claiborne Rogers, Lakeland, FL; a daughter, Melissa Boyd-Keller (Alumba), Queens, NY; three step daughters, Juanetha Thompson, Tampa, FL; Taulleto Rodriguez, AZ; and Bonita Smith-Henderson, NC; a step son, Elder Waldo Rogers, NC; a step sister, Myrtis Stedman, GA; two nieces, Delores Boyd Ketchup, NY and Terri Ketchup, Ga; three nephews, Garvin, Hendrix, and Stacy Ketchup, GA; a great niece, Kenyatta-Sheree (clinton) Stephens, GA; two granddaughter, Lawanda Walker, GA; Latonya Walker, TN; a grandson, Jonas Logan Keller, Queens, NY; great grandchildren, Kenneth and Kalynn Wesby, Felicia Larry, a sister in law, Rose Ketchup, GA; a son in law, Bennie Walker, GA; Special cousin Christine Boyd, GA; and a host of a host of relatives and friends.
