~ CHARLIE GREEN, JR. OBITUARY ~ Charlie H. Green, Jr., affectionately known as Waynesboro.com by family & friends, transitioned into grace on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at University Hospital. He was the son of Carrie L. Green and the late Charlie H. Green, Sr.. He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Charlie Green III (mother Karen Blackwell): four sisters, Hattie (Guy) Foreman, Ruby Jordan, Emma (Donnie) Edwards, and Alice (Melvin) Lomack; two brothers, Tony (Yvonne) Green, and Jimmy Green; three brothers that preceded him in death, Jerry Green, Eddie Cobb, and Charlie Bryant; a loving and devoted friend, Jeanette Thomas; a devoted nephew, Timothy (Peewee) Gracy; a good friend, Sam Blackman; and a host of nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, other relatives, and friends that will miss him dearly. Funeral services will be conducted this Saturday, April 21, 2012, at 11 AM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Gibson Chapel. Interment will be in Walker Memorial Park. There will be a wake this evening from 6 - 7 PM at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home.
