Brenda Denise Scruggs, a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant for Serenity Mental Health, gracefully completed her journey on July 15, 2024, in Grovetown, Georgia. She was born on October 8, 1973, in her beloved hometown of Augusta, Georgia. Brenda leaves behind a profound legacy that will be cherished by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Throughout her life, Brenda demonstrated unwavering compassion and commitment in her role as a CNA, touching the lives of many with her kindness and empathy. Her contributions to Serenity Mental Health were invaluable and served as a testament to her selfless nature.
Brenda's educational journey was marked by her graduation from Lucy C. Laney High School in Augusta, Georgia, where she later pursued and accomplished an associate degree. Her thirst for knowledge and dedication to personal growth were evident in all aspects of her life.
In her final moments, Brenda was surrounded by the love of her surviving family and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Darius Scruggs and is survived by her sons Patrick Neely, Noqwann Scruggs; daughters Breniya Scruggs, and Londyn Braswell. Their lives have been forever enriched by Brenda's presence and the memories they shared will be a source of comfort in the days ahead.
A visitation service to honor Brenda's memory will take place on Friday, July 26, 2024, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home in Augusta from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Celebration of Life ceremony will follow on Saturday, July 27, 2024, at the same location starting at 11:00 AM. The final farewell during the burial service will be held at Walker Memorial Park also on Saturday, July 27th at 12:15 PM.
Brenda's spirit will continue to inspire all those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace knowing that she made a lasting impact on this world through her warmth and generosity.
