Anthony Tyrone Curry, a cherished member of the Augusta community, passed away on April 1, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered for years to come. Born on May 18, 1957, in Augusta, Georgia, Anthony touched the hearts of many throughout his life.

Anthony dedicated himself to his work as a caddie for the prestigious Augusta National Golf Club and Sage Valley Golf Club. His passion for the sport and commitment to excellence shone through in everything he did. Anthony's friendly demeanor and unwavering work ethic made him a beloved figure among colleagues and club members alike.

In his spare time, Anthony could often be found sharing stories and laughter with friends at local gatherings. His kind spirit and sense of humor brightened the lives of all who knew him. Anthony's presence brought joy to those around him, making every interaction a memorable one.

He is survived by his loving family, including relatives and friends who will miss him dearly. The memories created with Anthony will forever hold a special place in their hearts. Though he may no longer be with us, the impact he made during his time on earth will continue to inspire and resonate with those who were fortunate enough to have known him.

Services to honor and celebrate Anthony's life will be held at various locations in Augusta. A viewing will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024, at Beulah Grove Baptist Church starting at 11:00 AM. Following this, Anthony will be laid to rest at Cedar Grove Cemetery at 12:15 PM.

Anthony Tyrone Curry will be deeply missed but never forgotten as his memory lives on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace knowing that he brought light into the lives of many.
