Allen Leon Brooks

Allen Leon Brooks, beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away on January 17, 2024 in Augusta, Georgia. He was born on October 8, 1951, also in Augusta.

Allen was a true patriot and served his country with honor. He joined The United States Navy and dedicated several years of his life to defending the freedoms we hold dear. His commitment to his military service exemplified his selflessness and love for his country. Beyond his military duties, Allen had a passion for connecting with others. His warm smile and kind heart made an impact on everyone he encountered. Whether it was through volunteering at local community organizations or simply lending a helping hand to a neighbor in need, Allen's acts of kindness touched many lives.

Throughout his life, Allen remained deeply connected to Augusta, his beloved hometown. He took great pride in being part of this vibrant community and contributed to its growth in various ways. His dedication to making Augusta a better place will always be remembered.

Allen's memory will forever be cherished by those who survive him. Friends and loved ones are invited to attend the services honoring Allen's life. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, January 23, 2024 at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta GA 30901, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. The Funeral Service will follow on Wednesday, January 24, 2024, also at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, starting at 1:00 p.m. Burial will then take place at South View Cemetery, 1102 Nellieville Rd, Augusta GA 30901, commencing at 2:15 p.m.

Allen Leon Brooks was a kind soul who brought light into the lives of those who knew him. His legacy of love and compassion will live on in the hearts of all who had the pleasure of knowing him. May he rest in eternal peace.
