Aaron L. Boxton

Aaron L. Boxton, a cherished father and a honorable veteran, passed away peacefully on March 12, 2025, in Augusta, Georgia, at the age of 76. Born on January 3, 1949, in the vibrant city of Chicago, Illinois, Aaron's journey through life was marked by resilience, dedication, and a commitment to serving others.

After proudly serving his country in the United States Army, Aaron carried the values of duty and honor into all facets of his life. His military service instilled in him a sense of discipline and a deep respect for those he served alongside, which remained evident throughout his years as he sought to uplift those around him.

Aaron was blessed with two wonderful sons, Darrel Boxton and Errol Boxton. He cherished every moment spent with them, sharing life lessons and values that will resonate with them for years to come. As a father, he was both a guiding hand and a steadfast supporter, encouraging his sons to pursue their dreams while providing them with an unwavering foundation of love and integrity.

In celebration of his remarkable life, family and friends are invited to join for a visitation at C.A. Reid Sr. Memorial Funeral Home, located at 314-A Laney Walker Blvd Ext., Augusta, GA, on Thursday, March 20, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A heartfelt Celebration of Life will take place the following day, Friday, March 21, 2025, at the same location, beginning at 2:30 PM and concluding at 3:30 PM.

Aaron L. Boxton leaves behind a legacy rich in love, service, and memory. He will be deeply missed, and his spirit will continue to inspire those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he rest in peace.
